JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Primary responsibility of this position
includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and the repair of manufacturing machinery
and installation of mechanical equipment. Facility Maintenance.
Main duties and
Responsibilities
Safely use common fabrication equipment, including mill, band saw, sanders, etc.
Ensure all work is conducted safely and in accordance with industry standard level of quality.
Disassemble and reassemble machines for repair, using various tools, and perform necessary maintenance work.
Operate and monitor machines and mechanical equipment, ensuring efficient function and identifying issues through inspection and testing.
Lubricate, apply adhesives, and replace machine parts according to specified procedures and production specifications.
Set up, operate, and adjust machine controls, collaborating with team members for repairs or equipment movement.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, using schematics and technical drawings.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Lead small teams to accomplish tasks as needed.
Oversee facility
maintenance, addressing plumbing, electrical safety, painting, and other
facility maintenance tasks to maintain proper function and professional
appearance.
Ability to pivot
tasks as priorities change
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
7-10 years of progressively responsible manufacturing maintenance experience with an emphasis on high-volume metal fabrication (e.g. forming, cutting, welding) and assembly. Robotic experience preferred, automotive or transportation sector experience a plus.
EDUCATION:
Education Level High School diploma or higher preferred
