JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Manager coordinates corporate communication activities including brand identity and positioning, promotions and advertising, corporate events planning and management.
In addition, this role oversees collateral development including design, layout and maintenance of multiple catalogs and other marketing pieces. The individual selected for this role will work closely with marketing team, sales, product, and other teams support tasks such as presentations, promotional items, campaigns, and partnerships that support business objectives, drive brand awareness, generate leads, and increase sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy Development:
- Develops and implements comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's business goals.
- Develops and executes targeted marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., email, social media, content marketing) to reach specific audience segments.
- Sets clear campaign objectives (e.g., lead generation, brand awareness, customer retention) and measure success using relevant KPIs.
- Collaborates with team members to develop compelling marketing materials, including visuals, copy, and videos.
- Oversees production of content marketing including all print literature and supportive marketing materials.
Brand Management:
- Oversees brand identity across all marketing channels assuring a consistent brand message, including logo, color palette, and typography.
- Maintains brand guidelines and ensure consistent brand application across all touchpoints.
- Supports customer partnerships and collaborations.
- Manages the company branded store and promotional items
Media Planning & Event Marketing:
- Manages trade show participation, sponsorships and association memberships.
- Plans and executes industry events, tradeshows, and support corporate events including coordination of logistics, marketing materials, and staffing for events.
- Develops and executes comprehensive media plans, negotiate rates, and manage insertion orders to optimize advertising budgets.
- Oversees the creation and placement of engaging feature articles and other content to promote brand awareness, generate leads, and drive sales.
Communications
- Fosters strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, and media, through effective communication strategies and messaging.
- Coordinates internal and external communications including email blasts, written letters, and emails.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing role, preferrable in a B2B environment
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of traditional marketing channels and tactics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and understanding of preparing files for print.
- Understanding of email marketing utilizing Constant Contact.
