JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The lead is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the assigned department
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and be able to work without constant supervision.
• Actively promotes safety and quality while maintaining on-time delivery
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be proficient in understanding mechanical drawings.
• Review quality documents as required.
• Prepare for and lead pre-shift production meeting
• Ensure that associates are consistently meeting quality expectations
• Train/Coach associates on safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Follow shipping schedules & maintain inventory accuracy
• Keep KPI boards up to date and identify how to improve each hour
• Assist in the amount of manpower and equipment needed for shipping
• Maintain system output to ensure hourly targets are met
• Supply any information needed for plant staff related to inventory, shipments, etc.
• Assist with inventory activities and cycle counts
• Address any mechanical/quality/safety issues during shift and ensure specs. are being followed

Minimum Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Previous experience in a similar role is required
Positions available on  2nd shift, may train on more than one shift
