JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The lead is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the assigned department
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and be able to work without constant supervision.
- Actively promotes safety and quality while maintaining on-time delivery
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be proficient in understanding mechanical drawings.
- Review quality documents as required.
- Prepare for and lead pre-shift production meeting
- Ensure that associates are consistently meeting quality expectations
- Train/Coach associates on safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Follow shipping schedules & maintain inventory accuracy
- Keep KPI boards up to date and identify how to improve each hour
- Assist in the amount of manpower and equipment needed for shipping
- Maintain system output to ensure hourly targets are met
- Supply any information needed for plant staff related to inventory, shipments, etc.
- Assist with inventory activities and cycle counts
- Address any mechanical/quality/safety issues during shift and ensure specs. are being followed
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a similar role is required
Positions available on 2nd shift, may train on more than one shift
