How to Install an RV Screen Door Grab Bar
Time to Complete: roughly 10 minutes (depending on the level of expertise)
Tools Required:
1. Premium Screen Door Grab Bar (990005-00)
These instructions are applicable for RV or horse trailer screen doors.
Steps:
- Line up the grab bar to the side of the screen door and ensure that the hole screw is facing the ground.
- Slide the lip into the screen door that opens away from your trailer.
- Pull the other side of the grab bar to match the length of your door.
- Then, slide the lip of the grab bar into the side of the screen door that attaches to your trailer.
- Use a drill to attach each screw to the head of the grab bar.
- Lastly, drill the final screw in the center of the grab bar.
- Make sure you do not have the screws too tight, or it could strip the screws where they were placed.
