Dexter’s Steer Auxiliary Truck Suspensions coil spring steering dampers provide unsurpassed stability and driver control. The high-strength fabricated steering axle is built for single-tire applications.

The Non-Steer Auxiliary Truck Suspensions is designed for use with Dexter’s trusted 5” round heavy duty axle with 6” or 8” drop center axle options. There are also custom solutions and standard 71.5” and 77.5” track axles available.

The Maxle® Trailered Axle suspension system adds up to 12,000 lbs. payload per trip for increased revenue. The hydraulic cylinders engage, creating a rigid truck frame extension. Each system comes ready to install and pre-wired for truck lighting hookups, which can raise and lower using the same PTO as the truck body. Steer axle provides better maneuverability, stability, and reduced tire wear. The Maxle® is designed so loading or dumping not affected when in the stowed position. There are dump body, crane truck, and cement mixer applications.
